Kimberly caught the wine bug while living in Chile and carried it back to Washington, D.C., where she met Kirk. Through tastings, travel, and unforgettable experiences in places like Tuscany, Chile, and Napa, Kirk fell in love with wine the places it comes from, the conversations it sparks, and the life built around it.
In the 1970's, Dick and Pat Ellis and their infant son, Teddy, moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. A few months after they arrived, they were invited to help pick grapes at a friend's vineyard in Woodside. With their baby in a backpack as they picked, they experienced the excitement of the wine process for the first time.

Kathy and Tim O’Leary are the owners and operators of Valley View Orchard and Long Walk Vineyard. Originally from Northern California, they met while attending college at Stanford.
For everyone at Irvine & Roberts Vineyards, everything starts and ends with the land. Inspired by the high-elevation terrain, the first vines were planted in 2007 on the original Irvine Estate. In 2017, the Irvine & Roberts tasting room opened its doors and became more than a vineyard – it has been a place of connection, where the beauty of the land and the artistry of winemaking come together to create something truly special.
Al and Virginia Silbowitz moved to Southern Oregon because it was a great place to raise a family. Opening a winery wasn’t originally part of the plan for them, but their love of the craft quickly grew into something they wanted to share with others.
Goldback Wines launched in 2016 and is based in Ashland in the Rogue Valley of southern Oregon. Winemaker Andy Myer brings over 10 years of winemaking experience to this endeavour, having worked 12 vintages in a variety of wine regions across the globe. These producers include Felton Road, Cristom Vineyards, William Selyem, Cape Mentelle, Hirsch Vineyards and Mark Ryan Winery.
